  • Food: Ate at the Launching Pad Drive-in where the Gemini Giant is located. For reference it was about 10ish in the morning and I had a soft pretzel and my partner had a mango ice cream. We were living it up on this road trip.
  • Souvenirs: They had a penny press!!! I’ve been collecting crushed pennies since I can remember. I was more excited for the penny than the Rt 66 souvenir pins and stickers we got.
  • Sites: Gemini Giant statue, Launching Pad
  • Hidden Gem: Penny press
  • Can’t miss photo op: Standing under the Gemini Giant on his pedestal

  • Sites: Paul Bunyan holding a hot dog statue, thrift store, Palms Cafe, Atlanta library, 100 year old millstones
  • Hidden Gem: Atlanta library
