Travel Journal – California
I hadn’t been to California before so narrowing down where we were going to travel to was a bit of a challenge. We decided our top priority was collecting sea glass at Arroyo Burro Beach County Park in Santa Barbara. From there we decided on a mini road trip – fly into LA, drive the Pacific Coast Highway to Santa Barbara for a couple days, then drive back down to Santa Monica to see the Route 66 trail ends sign, and spend a day in LA before heading back to Chicago. Everything we saw I documented when I got home in a travel journal.
This whirlwind trip went by too fast. I’m looking forward to going back to California one day to visit the Getty Museum and some national parks.

This was a fun trip to document. We did so much in a such a short time!
